La Mer Hotel was built in Key West around the early 1900s and received a multi-million dollar renovation in 2003. The Dewey House was once the original home of philosopher and educator John Dewey, and remained a private residence until almost 10 years ago. In 2003, the Dewey House received an interior makeover and her newly renovated luxury guest rooms now include marble baths, Jacuzzi tubs, classic furnishings, and plenty of amenities to pamper all our guests.
